Helsinki, Finland. It was my first trip to this part of the world, and I would never thought I’d go there during winter.
Packing for travel is never an easy task. There are so much to think about when away from home, and you don’t want to be without backup, especially if you plan to shoot in harsh conditions.
I initially planned to only pack my Leica M240 and a couple of M lenses, since I never shot in such cold conditions, the idea of having the gears breaking down, due to extreme temperatures can be a bit daunting.
So I packed my Leica M240, a couple of M lenses and … the Sony a7r Mark II with a Zeiss lens … and the Pen F with a couple of Panasonic Summilux and Nocticron lenses. The whole lot fit into a small camera bag :o).. That’s the sweetness of mirroir less and Leica M systems.
This first lot was shot with the Leica M240 and the Leica 35mm Summilux FLE lens *
